Designed for the naturalist in mind, this is an active, outdoors class for students excited about nature and working hands-on in the school’s The Growing Minds Garden. You will learn the importance of native prairie ecology, local food systems, and some botany. We will prep the school’s garden bed for winter, cultivate prairie wildflowers for the spring, and create composting systems. Bring your green thumb and willingness to get your hands in the earth.
