Additional Information

Students will learn different dance technique, folk dance and cultural movements from a selection of countries around the world (Cuba, Egypt, France, Guinea, India, Trinidad, Japan etc). Each week students will focus on a different country or region where the dance originates. Students will have some input on the dances selected and will also learn basic dance class etiquette. Some classes will include live music and guest instructors. This class will have five slots for a production team. This team will manage material, music, costumes and logistics for the classes and performances (great for young leaders). There will be a performance demonstration the last day of class!
